Garmin Hiking Maps
Here I provide my self-created hiking maps for Garmin GPS devices for free download. The map is updated irregularly. The ZIP archive contains the map itself ("gmapsupp.img"), the TYP file and the TDB file. Normally only the file "gmapsupp.img" has to be transferred to the GPS device and activated there. The map is optimized for the average hiker, contains elevation contours in a separate layer, and is not routable (means: no search index for start and destination – calculating routes as well as navigating based on them is still possible). OpenStreetMap is used as data base. I explicitly point out that I assume no liability for function or suitability, and the use is solely your responsibility.
